Custom T-shirts with Screen Printing in Springfield MA
Screen printing is a method of printing where ink is forced through a stencil or mesh onto a substrate, such as fabric, paper, or metal. The stencil, or “screen,” is created by blocking out areas of the mesh with a stencil or “positive” film. Ink is then forced through the mesh onto the substrate, creating the image or design. Screen printing is often used for t-shirts, posters, and other items where a high level of detail or vibrant colors are desired.

How does the pricing of Screen Printing work?
Several important aspects influence screen printing clothes pricing, including:
Total quantity ordered: The more apparel you order, the individual price would go down. Screen printing is ideal for large quantity orders.
Number of colors in your print: Increasing the number of colors per print would add additional cost to your order.
Total number of print locations: Having different places the design is needed to be printed on a shirt for example will take more time to be finished.
Quality of the blank garment being printed on: This is depend mostly on the chosen garment like t-shirts or hoodie.
Other Printing Cost
Color Changes
This first color set up is free when we pour ink onto the screens to print your graphic. There is a $15 color change fee for each time you want to change the printed ink color of a number of your purchase. For instance, you would think about printing half the order in black ink on white tees and then changing this color to print in white ink on the black tees if you wanted to print a one-color image on both black and white tees. The final half of the order’s change from white to black ink would incur a single color change fee of $15. (the first black ink color to start the run was free).
Complex Separations
There is a one-time fee of $200 for developing the complicated color separations that are required for screen printing photographic pictures or designs that have intricate details like gradations and fades.
What will be the design format?
Create and send your artwork in a vectorized format like ai, pdf, or eps with all fonts converted to outlines in order to achieve the best printing results. Send your design at a resolution of 300 dpi and in a size that is roughly equivalent to how big you would want it to be printed if this is not achievable. Rasterized files in the psd, pdf, tiff, or jpeg formats are accepted.
Before you start designing, you must set your image size/canvas space to “life-size” proportions and resolution to 300 dpi. You cannot simply increase the design, change the resolution to 300 dpi, and obtain a high detail file if your image was created on a tiny canvas and at a lesser resolution. The print quality will be better if you start with the canvas space sized correctly and the resolution set to 300 dpi.
